Welcome to

Oakham CE Primary School

Uniform

We believe if the children take pride in their appearance, then they take pride in their learning and the school environment as a whole.  We believe that the wearing of uniform encourages children to have a sense of belonging and of being part of a community.  It is an outward expression of the school’s identity and promotes a feeling of pride and equality.  In addition, we believe that the wearing of a uniform, as opposed to leisure wear, contributes to helping children understand that they come to school to work and learn. Oakham CofE has a full school uniform policy. The school colour is navy and every child from Foundation Stage to Year 6 is expected to wear appropriate uniform.
