This week our Year 6’s take the next steps of their learning journey. We are all so proud of you and wish you all the best as you begin year 7 at your new schools.

Having had two daughters who have previously been Year 6 leavers, I can confidently say that it’s us, the parents, who are more worried and nervous about them growing up too fast and the vast majority of them are more than ready to move on to secondary school, even if we’re not ready to let them go!
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you and congratulations to all of Year 6 and wish them all the very best for their futures and for starting their new secondary schools.

Remember to keep in touch. We love to hear about and share the amazing things our children go onto achieve.

It’s a great opportunity to throwback to the beginning of summer and those very memorable and emotional last weeks of term. Many thanks also to Mr Hammond for producing a fabulous end of year video ‘Then & Now’ which reduced many children to tears!
